Before & After : Kristen

Kristen is one of my 9/10/11 brides. She is so beautiful and sweet and I had so much fun working with her! We were actually able to work together two times in the span of one week! She first came in to the salon to get her hair and makeup done for her engagement pictures. When we were almost finished with her makeup we found out that her photographer had an emergency and had to cancel! So we were able to really perfect her look with a nice practice round, and by the time her actual engagement pictures day came she was stunning! I can't wait to see the professional pictures!!

Another Beautiful Keratin Complex Before & After!

Meet Aisha, a beautiful mother and full time college student. She came to me, having heard of the benefits of the Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy. Her sister had a similar treatment done and had recommended it to her. She has had naturally curly/frizzy hair since birth and has never really had the time to straighten it. Like I said before, she is a mother AND a full time college student! Can you say Wonder Woman? She even took the few hours of "relaxation time" with me to study! When Aisha came in I was absolutely tickled, and so excited to see how it would turn out. And as you can see it is absolutely gorgeous!!It even added several inches on the the length! It felt so healthy neither of us could stop touching it! Thank you Aisha for the fun!

Ainsley's Engagements

First of all, is that not the cutest name ever?! Not only is it the cutest name, but Ainsley is just about as darling as they come! She is so sweet and so fun to be around. She has a long haired dachshund named Frank, just like my little Franklin Beans! We just laughed about how funny our dogs are! We had so much fun doing her hair and makeup! I will say, however that I can't take all the credit for her makeup. She came in with some of her makeup done, we did a touch up and added to it for pictures, as well as adding temporary lashes. We also chose to do a lose curl to soften up her darling dramatic A-line. She is absolutely beautiful in her pictures! Photography by Magnifique Photography

Niki's Wedding

Niki got married on June 30th, it was a beautiful day, and she was the most beautiful bride! She actually got a severe concussion a few days before when her fiance was tickling her and they bumped heads! It was a crazy week for her, and I know that she was so happy to finally have her wedding day come! Because of her concussion, we decided to do her hair down in loose curls. We didn't want to cause a headache from the stress of an updo! Again we kept her makeup simple, just enough to enhance her natural beauty! Congratulations Niki, you were absolutely stunning! *TIP* To make your loose curls last all day, even in the heat, start by spraying your hair with a light mist of hairspray, a soft hold works best. For Niki's look I used Eufora Elevate Finishing Spray (available at Salon Bela) then wrap your hair around the curling iron. I used a 1 inch iron for Niki's look. Then let the curls cool completely (I usually let them sit for about 15 minutes after curling) before you run your fingers through them. I love using Keratin Complex Infusion, or Pureology Shine Max when taming fly aways. Last Spray with hairspray and finish with a good shine spray. I love Eufora Illuminate Shine Mist!
